A sequence of alphabetic or numeric or alphanumeric characters which specifies an online resource or group of resources where people can visit by typing in that domain name for some purpose, for example; google.com. People visit Google to search for websites that provide them with usually millions of domain names to visit. The “.com” in this case is what is called the domain extension and is required to complete a domain name. There are well over 1,000 domain name extensions in the world. A domain name is much like your home address; people can find you at your home address, and they can find you at your domain name; your website. When you “own” a specific domain name, you alone are able to use it.

In the Domain Names Available Now category when your mouse pointer hovers over a domain name that you are interested in, the domain name will reveal the phrase; Make an Offer. When you click on Make an Offer, you will be taken to a form where you will type in your offer. That form will come to one of our brokers who will then either accept your offer or make a counter offer to you. You will either receive a reply to your offer almost immediately, or usually within 12 hours. After you receive your reply from us, and we have accepted your offer, you will be given the opportunity to pay for the domain name with either your Credit Card, through Paypal, through Square, through Stripe, through ApplePay, or by ACH which is bank to bank electronic payment. If you desire to purchase a Clearance Domain Name, which means a Domain Name that we have put on sale to move it quickly, you simply click on the red Make an Offer phrase in the column in line with the Domain Name of your interest. Then you will be taken through the same procedure as we described above as if you were to choose to make an offer in our Domain Names Available Now category.

In all actuality, no one ever “owns” a domain name no matter where one purchases a domain name from. All domain names are registered, not purchased, through what is called a Registrar, and a Registrar requires an annual fee to be paid, but as long as one pays that renewal fee, that individual or company “owns” the right to use that domain name and no one else can. A Registrar is an official keeper of records and is the controlling body of a specific domain name extension or extensions and they set the rules for the domain name extension(s) within their jurisdiction. All Registrars are overseen by ICANN, which is the acronym for the Internet Committee for Assigned Names and Numbers. ICANN is a nonprofit organization that oversees the use of domain names.

Most people register, or “buy” a domain name when the time comes that they need a domain name. But domain names can be difficult to come by if you want a particular one that fits your needs and sounds perfect for your use. Often, people will pay thousands of dollars to secure that special domain name. So, if you see a domain name that seems like the right one for you, but you can’t justify paying the asking price to “buy” it; consider leasing it. Instead of paying $2500.00 upfront for the privilege of using that domain name, maybe we can lease that name to you for a monthly payment of $50.00, for example. That way, you can try-out or test that domain name, while you are also saving some money. Then, down the road, months or a few years later, maybe you will want to “own” that domain name because it is working great for you and you are building up your business. We can tailor a lease agreement for you which could even allow you to “purchase” that domain name should that time come. On the other hand, though, you may discover that the domain name isn’t working out well for you. If that ends up being the case, then you will want to terminate your lease agreement, and the monthly payments will stop.  During the term of the lease agreement of a domain name, the leasing company maintains the control of the domain name, ensuring that the domain name operates properly for the “Lessee”, the customer. When you contact us regarding the leasing of a domain name, we will establish a fluid exchange of emails, or phone conversations, should the need be, so that we can correctly write up the lease agreement between us.  That is the time when you will want to ask all of your questions, should you have any. This process all begins when you select a domain name to lease, and send off our contact form to us.

A website hosting provider, like our company, allocates space on a server computer and rents or leases that space to an individual or a company for the purpose of placing their domain name, thus their website, on the Internet for viewing by the public. If you or your company owns a domain name and you want to put it on the Internet, also referred to as the World Wide Web, then you must have your website placed on a server computer which is designed to provide that service. That server computer connects other web users to your website from anywhere in the world. Website hosting service providers have the servers, the connectivity, and all of the associated services to be able to host websites. Finding a company to be the home for your website can be frustrating and very time consuming; some web hosting companies offer too many options on their menu, for example. We offer but one web hosting option, and it is a great one. In nearly everything you purchase in this world, “you get what you pay for.” Our hosting service offers extremely large capacity and speed and growth potential. For example; 1 TB of Disk Space, 5TB’s of Bandwidth, Unlimited Email Addresses, Unlimited MySQL Databases, a Dedicated IP Address, and more! You get all of that for only $25.00 per month, and only $20.00 per month with our discount when you purchase a domain name from us; we’re basically a one stop shop! And when you host with us, you’re not only going to get great service, but you’re not going to have to worry about relocating.

We have a “Contact Us” and “Need Help?” selection at the top of each page on our website. You can ask what you wish on either of the forms located at those selections and we will respond either immediately or usually within 12 hours.
