Lease A Domain Name

Leasing a domain name can be less costly than “buying” a domain name for yourself or for your business.

“Most people register, or “buy” a domain name when the time comes that they need a domain name. But domain names can be difficult to come by if you want a particular one that fits your needs and sounds perfect for your use. Often, people will pay thousands of dollars to secure that special domain name. So, if you see a domain name that seems like the right one for you, but you can’t justify paying the asking price to “buy” it; consider leasing it. Instead of paying $2500.00 upfront for the privilege of using that domain name, maybe we can lease that name to you for a monthly payment of $50.00, for example. That way, you can try-out or test that domain name, while you are also saving some money. Then, down the road, months or a few years later, maybe you will want to “own” that domain name because it is working great for you and you are building up your business. We can tailor a lease agreement for you which could even allow you to “purchase” that domain name should that time come. On the other hand, though, you may discover that the domain name isn’t working out well for you. If that ends up being the case, then you will want to terminate your lease agreement, and the monthly payments will stop.  During the term of the lease agreement of a domain name, the leasing company maintains the control of the domain name, ensuring that the domain name operates properly for the “Lessee”, the customer.”

“When you contact us regarding the leasing of a domain name, we will establish a fluid exchange of emails, or phone conversations, should the need be, so that we can correctly write up the lease agreement between us.  That is the time when you will want to ask all of your questions, should you have any. This process all begins when you select a domain name to lease, and send off our contact form to us.”
